Business Impact Analysis

One of the simplest types of analysis you need to do to develop your business continuity plans is Business Impact Analysis. We allow you to run far more sophisticated analysis, but the starting point for most organisations is a comparison of Recovery Time Objective against Recovery Time.

In our basic model you can see that the Recovery Time Objective is set within the Activity. Our software platform contains sophisticated engines that move this data through the model, so that the RTO is applied to all the processes and resources that need to take it into account.

Recovery Time is set at the Resource level, and again this data is moved through the dependency model. By doing a comparison of the two you can quickly identify if elements of your business are unable to recover within the relevant time.
