Other Types of Dependency

As a natural result of building your model you will create other types of dependency relationship. These are simply relationships that run across the three aspects of your model.

There are many types of dependency relationship each with its own motivation. In the diagram below we present two of the simplest types. These are the operates and the location dependencies. By populating these relationships we can start to develop some very sophisticated analysis and reporting. The great thing is you don’t have to worry about this, you simply have to populate the model, and we take care of the rest.
